Sam & Bequita Dempsey - owners
Kristy is a Plainfield area resident and has loved animals for as long as she can remember. She is always working extra-hard to ensure the pups get precisely what they need. The best part about working for Wagmore is how Sam & Beq are the best bosses ever, mostly because they wrote this bio for her ;)
Arriena is a Naperville area resident and has been walking dogs with the Dempseys since 2017. She grew up with Newfoundlands, so she really enjoys the larger breeds. Arriena is also a proud Naperville Jaycee & volunteers in the community. She has several years experience working in animal shelters and hospitals.

Dave is a long-time family friend of the Dempseys. An actor/stuntman by trade, he has really enjoyed his time with all the fuzzy family members. When not walking dogs, he is playing board games with friends & working on his voice acting career.
Jenna is a Naperville area resident and has been walking dogs with the Dempseys since 2012. She has a lifelong passion for animals having grown up with dogs and cats. She even works with scent-trained dogs in the professional arena. She lives with her rescue terrier mix named Mila and dreams of someday opening her own dog rescue and sanctuary.

Our Staff
Sam & Bequita Dempsey enjoy being crazy dog people. Since purchasing Wagmore in 2010, they built it
from 18 clients to over 150! They then purchased Snagglefoot Lisle in 2016 and merged the two
companies together. In 2022, they purchased Sassy Paws Dog Grooming in Orland Park, IL. In 2023, the
Snagglefoot franchise owners moved on to new adventures & the Dempsey dog walking/pet sitting
service company became Wagmore once again.
The Dempseys believe in optimism, hard work, solving problems, serving the community & creating jobs.
They strive for excellence in all endeavors & love to learn how to improve themselves & their business.
They work hard to support & mentor their employees even outside of work.
As Naperville Jaycees, both Sam & Bequita are very involved in the local community. They have both served in leadership positions on the board & have also volunteered for: the Last Fling Festival, Lobster Day, snow shoveling & food giving committees. The Naperville Jaycees is a local charity group that develops young leaders & supports local not-for-profit organizations.
Bequita & Sam are fortunate to have spent the past thirteen years befriending more than 200 cats, dogs, birds, fish, lizards, turtles and even chickens! In addition to completing various dog training courses, they have real-world experience working with a wide range of pet personalities. Sam specializes in large and/or active dogs & loves to howl with huskies. Bequita has extensive experience with ‘special needs’ pets. She has administered many forms of medication & has advised clients on accommodating different conditions. They love meeting new families & their pets. “We want our busy Wagmore families to have one less thing to worry about. Let our staff care for the pets, so that our clients can focus on family, vacations, school, work & anything else in their busy lives.”
When not caring for animals, Sam & Bequita enjoy spending time with their two young boys & their pup, Buffy.
